UK Arts International in association with Afrovibes Foundation Netherlands presents AFROVIBES FESTIVAL!! What is Afrovibes all about..? Let me give you all some background information. This year the festival marks 20 years of the new South Africa and will bringing Award Winning Artists in music,theatre,dance,photography and film.
Afrovibes originated in the Netherlands and it’s now into its 11th edition. The festival launched in Britain in 2010 and is produced by the UK Arts International. The festival starts in Amsterdam, The Hague,Utrecht, Eindhoven and Rotterdam, Whilst Britain are in for a treat from the 13 October 8th November this year AfroVibes will be touring a total of 17 venues around the UK .
Afrovibes is seen as more than just a show and more like an up close and personal experience centred in the Township Cafe, with free events,family workshops, live music and much more.
Here in Birmingham The Mac and The Drum join forces and bring you a whirlwind of artistic performances from the Monday 20th October -Saturday 26th October.
