The buzz from the City Of Colours festival is still up in the city of Birmingham as ‘creative town’ Digbeth was covered with lot’s of beautiful art.

The City Of Colour Festival is a celebration of all forms of art combined with street art, break dance and Hip-Hop.

As I was walking through the Custard Factory my eyes met with this big colourful art piece. The artist was just adding the finishing touches and I had to ask what the story was behind this beauty.

The artist told me the pink and purple colours in the middle is the symbol of the heart which connects to the green on the outside which represents the earth and people surrounding the earth. With all that energy from the heart to the earth reaches the stars as he nicely describes the shades of orange as the stars.

I love the that whilst the artist was finishing the design he never really had a title for it. I suppose people will see this colourful piece and will be able to use their owns thoughts and describe what they think think it represents in their own way.

Let me know your thoughts!!

City of colours. This untitled piece is all about connecting energy from the heart, which is beautifully represented using pink, purple in the middle. This gives off energy to the earth which is what the green represents.
