ARE YOU INVOLVED?

On the 21st June The Drum Arts Centre Birmingham are hosting the A34 Festival, as it aims to bring together the diverse communities together from the surrounding areas of Newtown and Perry Barr in the name of ‘Community Spirit’ to celebrate the Drum’s 20th Anniversary.

6 HOURS OF PURE ENTERTAINMENT AND ACTITIVES FROM 12-6PM

The A34 Festival and Open Day will take place inside and outside The Drum. Potters Lane will be closed to traffic for the day and a stage will be built to host entertainment for all the family including, Live Music, Dance, Spoken Word and much more. The building will be alive with arts and crafts stalls, and a range of delightful cuisine.

The day will also be an opportunity for local people to take part in a series of workshops and gain information, advice and guidance on health and wellbeing, employment, training and how to get involved in their community.

It’s a FREE family festival, coinciding with the Aston Heritage Open Day when other organisations such as Aston Hall, Aston Villa Football Club, Jame Masjid Mosque and Aston Fire Station will also open their doors to local people to celebrate their communities and neighbourhoods.
